BACKGROUND
Background :
PT. Singlurus Pratama (SGP) was established on December 24, 1993. SGP signed a Coal Concession of Work (CCOW 3rd Generation) with the Government of Republic of Indonesia on November 20, 1997, providing SGP with rights and obligations to explore and extract coal in the area of Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan for a period of 30 years (2009-2039). SGP has commenced its coal production and distribution since July 2009, having received a coal mining concession (Coal Contract of Work Generation III) from the Government of Indonesia for coal production and distribution for a 30-year period (2001-2031). Coal production capacity is currently at 3 million metric tons per year, to be gradually increased to approximately 6 million metric tons per year by 2015.

Lanna Resources Public Co., Ltd. (Registered in Thailand) holding 5,168 shares (65%) of paid-up capital PT. Indocoal Pratama Jaya (Registered in Indonesia) holding 1,192 shares (15%) of paid-up capital PT. Harita Jayaraya (Registered in Indonesia) holding 954 shares (12%) of paid-up capital PT. Ambhara Karya Perdana (Registered in Indonesia) holding 636 shares (8%) of paid-up capital

SGP has commenced its coal production and distribution since July 2009, having received a coal mining concession (Coal Contract of Work Generation III) from the Government of Indonesia for coal production and distribution for a 30-year period (2001-2031). Coal production capacity is currently at 3 million metric tons per year, to be gradually increased to approximately 6 million metric tons per year by 2015.
